For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good
works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Do you believe you are unique, different, special, set apart, made
for something bigger or better?
You most certainly are, you are fearfully and wonderfully made
(Ps.139:14), for such a time as this!
Mankind is 99% exactly alike; meaning we are all created from
cells and are organic beings on this planet. It is that 1% which
differentiates each of us, that 1% is more than enough to cause you and me to
be completely different yet at the same time 99% alike.
That infinite wisdom of God which makes you you and me me is all
contained in that 1% of our being. His awesome workmanship calling each
of us to be who we are, who He created us to be. That 1% of uniqueness
permeates the 99% of cell make up to allow 7 billion people on this planet to
be uniquely different.
To better perceive this think of your fingerprints, think how they
are yours and yours alone, never have they ever belonged to anyone else. They
form in the womb and never change. Even identical twins have different
fingerprints. God did that, he purposed you to be different, unique and special,
and according to His word His very breath gave you life (Job33:4).
Who you are is exactly who you were created to be; you are
beautiful for God made you and He loves you so much. Just as He created you
uniquely different, He has a unique purpose for you. He wants nothing
more than for you to accept Him through His son Jesus Christ so that you may
know just how wonderful and special you truly are.
You may ask, why do I need Him? I got this on my own, I can
manage, and I can read self-help books, go to a positive thinking seminar and
possibly think, "I am my own savior". We all think we got this
on our own at some point in our life (or for some most of our lives), but how
is that working for you? Truly?
If you were not created for something special, given your very own
set of fingerprints to tell you apart from every other person on this planet
then I suppose saving yourself is all you need to be concerned about, there is
nothing unique in that it's the 99% of being alike and it is a primal drive,
common denominator of our homosapien gene pool.
Try living in that 1%, that which makes us different, which sets
us apart. Be unique like the very fingerprints God gave you for He
created you and set you apart from every other person; allow Him to show you
why He made you who you are.
Ask Him today to help you, accept His son as your Savior, and
accept what Jesus Christ did so that we can know exactly what it is He has in
mind for you. He will, He loves you... It doesn't matter what you've
done, who you've been, who you thought you were... He just wants to love you.
